The nature of this role is to provide engineering and technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical data centre facilities. You will be involved in all stages of commissioning, from early design, managing commissioning scripts, witness testing through to project handover.
You’ll work across complex mechanical systems including:
Chilled water and cooling systems
HVAC and air-handling systems
CRAC/CRAH units
Cooling towers
BMS
Requirements:
Mechanically qualified (trade or tertiary)
Data centre experience not essential but commissioning experience in complex or critical environments.
Your background could be in pharmaceutical, hospitals, airports, universities industrial facilities etc.
Excellent documentational skills, strong communicator and technically minded.
Must know how to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work in a rapid paced setting and remain calm under pressure
