Job Description
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
Assisting with statutory reporting and external audits
Managing balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
Supporting tax compliance obligations, including BAS, FBT, and income tax reporting
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
Contributing to financial analysis and management reporting
Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and automation




Partnering with stakeholders across finance and operational teams to deliver insights that support decision-making
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant
CA or CPA qualification
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
3+ years' experience in financial accounting, audit, or business services
Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements
Experience working within a complex corporate setting
Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Mining, resources, energy, or large corporate experience will be highly regarded
