We have an opportunity for a Lecturer in Speech Pathology to contribute to curriculum development, and teaching and learning, within the undergraduate and postgraduate Speech Pathology programs. In this role you will engage in high-quality research, collaborating with internal and external research partners; and foster engagement with industry partners.
Detailed Description
About You
You are presently an Associate Lecturer, or an experienced clinician interested in pursuing a career in tertiary research and education; and would be interested in undertaking a doctoral degree with the support of the discipline*.
You will need to demonstrate suitability to the following specific role requirements:
A degree in Speech Pathology that qualifies for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
Completion (or close to completion)
of a PhD in Speech Pathology, OR substantial experience as a practicing speech pathologist in Australia and willingness to enrol in a PhD as part of the research component of this role.
Teaching in Speech Pathology using alternative/versatile teaching methods and a variety of assessment processes
Clinical and student supervision experience in Speech Pathology and understanding of the clinical setting in Australia.
High level interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, students and a wide range of stakeholders.

Remuneration/Salary
Base Salary Range: $130,297 to $154,215 per annum (Academic Level B)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is full time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis. A hybrid work arrangement is available which comprises of working onsite at the UTS Broadway Sydney campus and remote working.
