Job Description

This is an opportunity for an experienced Event Sales Executive to join a small, high-performing team and focus on driving event enquiries, conversions and revenue across a portfolio of hospitality venues. This is a dedicated sales position rather than an operational events role, making it ideal for a commercially minded candidate who enjoys building relationships and converting opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:
Managing inbound event enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation
Proactively identifying and developing new sales prospects
Building solid relationships with corporate, private and industry clients
Preparing proposals, conducting venue inspections and negotiating event packages
Working closely with venue and operations teams to ensure a seamless handover of confirmed events

Candidate Profile





The successful candidate will have proven experience in event sales, hospitality sales or a closely related commercial role. You will be confident managing a sales pipeline, building relationships and converting enquiries, with a strong understanding of the Brisbane hospitality and events market advantageous.

You will bring:
Previous experience in event sales, venue sales or hospitality sales
A genuine sales focus, with experience driving revenue and conversions
Solid communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach
An interest in building a long-term career within a growing hospitality group
