About the Role
n
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join the maintenance and engineering team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator looking for a stable role with a reputable organisation, working across a range of plant, equipment and infrastructure projects.
n
The role will involve fabricating, assembling, repairing and installing metal components used throughout the facility.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
n
Cut, weld, shape and assemble structural and sheet metal components
n
Fabricate and install frames, supports and plant equipment
n
Modify, repair and maintain existing metal structures and equipment
n
Assist with maintenance, upgrades and improvement projects
n
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy
n
Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental requirements
n
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:




n
n
Proven experience in industrial, manufacturing or plant fabrication
n
Proficiency in MIG, TIG and/or stick welding
n
Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
n
Experience working with structural steel and sheet metal
n
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
n
