Job Description
n
Manage the day-to-day finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury, and general ledger activities
n
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reporting, and board outputs
n
Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization
n
Ensure timely and compliant tax filings and regulatory reporting
n
Lead external audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
n
Lead the R&D; tax incentive process, including data collection and stakeholder coordination
n
Manage payroll, accounting, and bookkeeping vendors
n
Lead implementation of financial systems and automation tools
n
Design and document scalable financial processes and controls
n
Implement process improvements to strengthen financial governance, accuracy, and efficiency
n
Deliver high-quality accounting processes and effective internal financial controls
n
Protect and safeguard business assets, including IP, inventory, and operational assets
n
Build and manage relationships with executives, tax advisors, banks, and outsourced providers
n
Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and operations teams
n
n
Requirements
n
n
CPA/CA qualified or equivalent
n
5+ years of experience in financial control, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment
n
Strong experience in a SaaS company
n
Understanding of SaaS metrics, including ARR, churn, CAC, and LTV
n
Proven experience implementing financial systems such as Xero, NetSuite,



or similar, with a focus on governance
n
Excellent knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
n
Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills
n
Legally authorized to work in Australia
n
