Job summary
n
As a Shift Supervisor at our restaurant in Ivanhoe, Victoria, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of crew members. This permanent, full-time position operates on a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday, between 8.30am and 11pm. It will suit applicants who have a passion for cooking and for developing a career in Casual Dining.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and serve food according to company SOPs.
n
Clean and maintain restaurant areas, machinery and equipment.
n
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the crew members during shifts.
n
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
n
Provide training and support to new team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
n
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management.
n
Confidently handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
n




Prepare shift reports, documenting sales and operational performance.
n

Qualifications
n
n
Previous experience as a shift supervisor within the retail and hospitality industries.
n
Experience in casual dining or QSR preferred.
n
Strong work ethic with a commitment to 8-10 hour shifts (morning and evening).
n
Ability to demonstrate a proactive mindset in day-to-day operations.
n
Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and staff.
n
Basic understanding of the Fast Food Industry Award.
n
Basic understanding of inventory management and a strong organisational mindset.
n
Committed to a 6-month probation period.
n
Physically fit and able to work for long periods of time standing.
n
