Job Description

Provide clear and well-presented data-driven information for effective analysis and delivery of finance outcomes.
n
Assist in implementing and aligning finance functions and initiatives within the portfolio against the national finance strategy.
n
Support the Finance Business Partner by providing data and proactive commercial advice to business units and business support groups.
n
Undertake distinct finance projects as required.
n
Measure performance against defined standards and monitor results.
n
Identify and action operational improvements across Finance functions.
n
Provide decision support from a commercial and risk perspective.
n
Facilitate effective communication and a finance data-based approach that sustains and continuously improves mission outcomes.
n

Requirements
n
n
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
n
CPA/CA (or progress towards) is desirable.
n
Intermediate spreadsheet skills will be an advantage.
n
Experience working with management and budget owners.
n
Sound communication skills.
n
Stakeholder management skills.
n
