About the Role
n Chelgrave Contracting is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join a high-profile food manufacturing operation based in Melbourne's inner suburbs. This is a casual, Monday to Friday role, working fully on site, responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
n Working closely with maintenance team, production teams, and external contractors, you will plan and schedule maintenance work using SAP PM to minimise disruption across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
n Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities
n
Create, manage and close out maintenance work orders within SAP PM
n
Liaise with maintenance technicians, production teams and external contractors to sequence work with minimal disruption to operations
n
Solid understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP principles within a food manufacturing environment
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset data and job history within SAP
n
Support compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality standards
n
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning processes and equipment reliability
n

About You
n
n
Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar maintenance coordination role
n
Proficient in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance module)
n
Experience within the food manufacturing industry, or a strong understanding of its hygiene, safety and compliance requirements
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing maintenance demands
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with trades, operations and management
n
Available to work on site, Monday to Friday
n
