Western District Health Service is seeking Expressions of Interest from current employees interested in joining the Emergency Department as a Personal Services Assistant (PSA).
n
About the Role
n
The Personal Services Assistant supports the day-to-day operation of the Emergency Department through a range of non-clinical support functions that contribute to patient care and service delivery. Duties may include:
n
n
Maintaining a clean, protected and welcoming environment.
n
Assisting with food and beverage services.
n
Transporting patients, equipment and supplies.
n
Restocking clinical areas and patient spaces.
n
Supporting patient comfort and care within the scope of the role.
n
Assisting clinical staff with ward support activities and general departmental operations.
n
n

Qualifications
n
n
Certificate I in Food Handling.
n
Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent qualification (for Grade 2 PSA roles).

Locum cover is required from 4 August ******** months. Shift times: Various, a mix of days and nights. Travel and accommodation are included. Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation.
