Job Description
Senior Software Engineer | AWS Cloud
n Deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS, Java, Python and modern DevOps practices on a major government technology program. This role requires full-time onsite attendance in Canberra for the first 3 months, with hybrid arrangements considered afterward.

n Work Arrangement: Hybird
n Contract Duration: Contract to 30 June **** with 2 x 12-month extension options
n Security Clearance Requirement: Must hold an AGSVA NV1 clearance

Essential Tasks
n
n
Design and develop cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices and integrations on AWS.
n
Build serverless and containerised solutions using Lambda, ECS, EKS and related AWS services.
n
Develop Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
n




Provide technical leadership across design, development, deployment and operational support.
n

Key Criteria
n
n
Senior software development expertise across complex applications and cloud solutions.
n
Strong AWS cloud-native development experience with Java, Python, Node.js or TypeScript.
n
Experience designing complex software and systems using secure, scalable architecture patterns.
n
Strong systems integration, automation, CI/CD and technical leadership capability.
n

Due to the nature of this workplace, candidates must hold a current AGSVA clearance and be able to obtain NV1.
