A unique hybrid role combining site administration, coordination, and aviation support.
Programmed Facility Management has recently been awarded new contracts at
Tropicana and Sunrise Dam
, and we're expanding our team to support ongoing operations.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a
hybrid position
, combining
site administration with Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO) responsibilities
, working as part of a
small, high-impact team
.
Working on an
8:6 FIFO roster out of Perth
, this role is suited to an experienced site professional who is organised, confident, and comfortable operating across both
administrative and operational environments
.

The Opportunity
As an Assistant Village Manager / ARO, you'll play a key role in supporting
site operations through a mix of administration, coordination, and aviation-related responsibilities
.
This is a
varied and senior-level role
, where you'll manage day-to-day admin functions while also supporting
aerodrome operations and compliance requirements
.
You'll work closely with site teams, operational leaders, and client stakeholders, ensuring
smooth coordination across multiple functions
.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
site-based administrative support
across operations
Coordinate
travel, accommodation, and site logistics
Manage onboarding processes including




inductions, site access, and documentation
Maintain accurate
records, reporting, and compliance documentation
Support
aerodrome operations and reporting requirements
in line with standards
Assist with inspections, documentation, and coordination related to airside activities
Liaise with
site leadership, contractors, and client stakeholders
Support general coordination across site functions as required
Ensure all administrative and operational processes are completed accurately and on time
About You
You're an experienced site-based professional who is comfortable working in a
hybrid role
, balancing administration with operational responsibilities.
You're organised, proactive, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
You will have:
Proven experience in an
AVM or similar FIFO role (required)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work in a
rapid-paced, multi-functional environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Requirements
Full Australian working rights
Valid C Class Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Current National Police Check (must be clear)
Experience in
FIFO village, facilities, or mining environments
Exposure to aviation or airside operations
Experience working within small, high-performing teams
Location Requirement
Candidates must be Perth-based (or able to commute to Perth for flights) or reside in Kalgoorlie.
