ABBA Engineering is growing our FIFO Dewatering & Projects Team, and we're looking for an experienced Dewatering Supervisor to join us.
n
This is an exciting prospect for an experienced mining or dewatering professional who enjoys leading teams, coordinating site activities and delivering safe and efficient dewatering operations. You will play a key role in overseeing dewatering systems, mechanical maintenance, pipeline installation and site services across Western Australia's mining industry.

About the Role
n
Dewatering Supervisors oversee day-to-day dewatering operations, manage teams of technicians, and ensure compliance with project and safety requirements.
n
Key Focus Areas:
n
n
Supervise and mentor Dewatering Technicians and Senior Technicians
n
Coordinate dewatering system setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
n




Oversee pump and pipeline installations, relocations, and modifications
n
Ensure preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs are completed efficiently
n
Monitor compliance with WHS procedures and participate in toolbox meetings
n
Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records
n
Manage client relationships and communicate operational updates effectively
n
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement efficiency initiatives
n
Provide technical guidance and support to field teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
n
n
About You
n
n
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within mining, construction, or manufacturing.
n
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in mining, industrial, or civil operations
n
Strong mechanical understanding of dewatering pumps and systems
n
Experience with pump curves, parameters, and operational troubleshooting
n
S26 tickets (Mandatory)
n
MR or HR driver's licence
n
Tech-savvy with experience using tablets or digital tools to monitor and report on field operations
n
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
n
Commitment to safety and operational excellence
n
n
