n Senior Solution Infrastructure Engineer | NV1

Design and deliver resilient, high-performing infrastructure solutions for business-critical systems as a Senior Solution Infrastructure Engineer. Shape technology roadmaps, solution designs, virtualisation, networking, disaster recovery and infrastructure modernisation across a complex Australian Government setting.

Location: ACT
n Contract Duration: Contract to 30 June **** + 12 months + 12 months
n Security Clearance Requirement: NV1
n Closing Date: 10:00am, Wednesday 09 September ****

Essential Tasks
n
n
Develop infrastructure roadmaps and design resilient solutions for core enterprise systems.
n
Produce high-level and detailed solution designs, operational patterns, topology diagrams and technical specifications.
n
Lead infrastructure refresh, workload consolidation,



legacy decommissioning and disaster recovery design activities.
n
Assess infrastructure health, capacity and technical debt while recommending tuning, hardening and improvement initiatives.
n

Key Criteria
n
n
Availability Management Level 5 and Capacity Management Level 4 capability.
n
IT Infrastructure Level 4 and Problem Management Level 4 capability.
n
Programming/Software
Development Level 3 and Systems Design Level 5 capability.
n
Experience with enterprise operating systems, virtualisation, networking, security services or database platforms is advantageous.
n
