ABOUT YOU
n
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
n
The successful applicant will have prior barista experience and be confident preparing a variety of hot and cold beverages, including consistently high-quality coffee and basic latte art. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional cafe experience for our students, staff, families and visitors.
n
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Barista who enjoys providing excellent customer service and is comfortable working in a busy school cafe environment.
n
Candidates should demonstrate:
n
n
Experience working as a Barista in a cafe, hospitality or retail environment
n




Demonstrated ability to produce a range of hot and cold beverages, including consistently high-quality coffee and basic latte art
n
Excellent customer service and presentation skills
n
Ability to follow operating procedures and prepare orders according to customer requirements
n
Experience cleaning and maintaining service areas and equipment to required hygiene and food safety standards
n
Experience opening and closing a cafe and handling cash and electronic transactions
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities during busy service periods
n
Ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team
n
A friendly, qualified and approachable manner.

Hold or be eligible to hold a current Blue Card for Working with Children in Queensland
n
Agree to undergo a Criminal History/Police Check conducted by the School
n
Be an Australian resident or otherwise eligible to work in Australia.

Must be able todemonstratean understanding ofappropriate
professionalboundaries
and standards when working with children and young people.
