We are seeking experienced Yearling Sales Preparation Staff to join our team on farm for the upcoming sales season.
n
Applicants must be confident and experienced handling and educating young thoroughbreds and able to work safely and competently.
n
The role includes:
n
n
Yearling handling and education
n
Hand walking, parade and standing practice
n
Grooming, washing and general sales preparation
n
Feeding, mucking out and general reliable duties
n
Monitoring horse health and administering basic
treatments/medications
n
Assisting with vets and farriers
n
Paddock checks and general stud duties as required
n
n
Applicants must have:
n
n
Previous yearling sales preparation experience
n




Strong ground handling and horsemanship skills with young horses
n
A good eye for horse health and attention to detail
n
Excellent spoken English and listening
n
A current driver's licence
n
A valid Australian working visa/right to work
n
n
You must be available to work for a minimum of 4 to 6 months from 8 October **** and be available throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
n
Full time position. Working Holiday Visa holders welcome. Eligible work for the 88 day second Working Holiday Visa requirement.

Single accommodation available.
