Day Shift: $30 - $32/hr + Super
n
Afternoon Shift: $37 - $40/hr + Super
n
Days - Mon - Thur 6am - 2:30pm, Fri 6am - 12pm
n
Afternoons - Mon - Thur 2:25pm - 11:10pm, Fri 12pm - 5pm
n
Key duties will include:
n
n
Cutting float and laminated glass according to job specifications and production requirements
n
Producing quality flat glass products while maintaining an efficient production flow
n
Preparing optimisation programs for the cutting table
n
Checking glass thickness, type and quality prior to cutting
n
Inspecting glass for starts, scratches, shells and other defects before cutting
n
Cutting laminated glass using appropriate tools and methods
n
Checking measurements before stacking glass ready for the next stage of production
n
Maintaining appropriate stock levels across autotable and freefall areas
n
Keeping benches, cutting tables, machinery and surrounding areas clean and free from debris
n
Safely managing glass offcuts and ensuring bins are maintained
n
Completing and ensuring production paperwork is accurate and signed off
n
Assessing the weight and size of glass before moving,



using a two-person lift where required
n
Maintaining a safe work area and following all PPE and WHS requirements
n
n
To be successful:
n
n
Previous warehousing, manufacturing or similar experience
n
Previous experience cutting glass, either by hand or machine, will be highly regarded
n
Ability to work safely and follow workplace procedures
n
Valuable attention to detail when working to measurements and job specifications
n
Reliable, punctual and well disciplined
n
Robust team player with a positive attitude
n
Ability to maintain a neat and tidy work environment
n
