As a Pavement Engineer, you'll bring your technical expertise to the design and delivery of durable, high-performing pavement solutions across multi-disciplinary transport projects.

You'll play a key role in ensuring pavement systems are safe, cost-effective and built to last - while collaborating with a team that values technical excellence and innovation.

What You'll Do
n
You'll contribute across the full project lifecycle, supporting design, review and delivery activities:
n
n
Review pavement materials, mix designs and maintain concrete mix registers
n
Design and assess flexible and rigid pavement systems
n
Prepare technical reports and engineering drawings
n
Undertake desktop reviews to ensure compliance with quality systems and client requirements
n
Collaborate across disciplines on major infrastructure projects
n
Support proposal preparation, including cost inputs and technical contributions
n
Apply relevant standards, regulations and best practice methodologies
n
Support protected design principles and contribute to project risk identification
n
Assist in delivering high-quality outcomes that improve client satisfaction
n
n

What You'll Bring
n
We're looking for a motivated Pavement Engineer with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset:
n
n
~5+ years' experience in pavement engineering
n
Experience in flexible and rigid pavement design and technical reporting
n
Exposure to geotechnical engineering (desirable)
n
Strong technical writing and communication skills
n
Ability to manage workloads across multiple projects and priorities
n
Attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
n
Ability to work independently while contributing to team success
n
A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on continuous improvement
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) Working towards Chartered Engineer status
n
