Crystalbrook Sam is coming to Adelaide, and we are looking for engaging and confident Duty Managers to join our Front Office team.
n
This is an opportunity to step into a brand-new hotel from the beginning, help shape the way we operate and play an important role in creating the culture and guest experience Crystalbrook Sam will become known for.
n
As a Duty Manager, you will be a visible leader across the hotel - supporting our Front Office team, connecting with guests, resolving challenges with confidence and ensuring every shift runs smoothly.
n
You will know when to step forward, when to listen and when to make the call.

What you will be doing
n
n
Lead our front office operation during your shift, creating confidence, clarity and momentum across the team
n
Create memorable guest experiences through genuine connection, thoughtful service and a willingness to go beyond the expected
n
Support and inspire our Front Office team, providing coaching, direction and hands-on leadership throughout the day
n
Take ownership of guest feedback and service recovery, resolving concerns calmly, commercially and with the guest experience front of mind
n
Coordinate across departments including Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance and Reservations to keep the hotel experience seamless
n
Manage arrivals, departures, room movements and operational priorities, while maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards
n
Support VIPs, groups and special occasions, ensuring important guest details are recognised and delivered
n
Maintain strong knowledge of hotel systems, procedures, safety and emergency requirements
n
Complete shift reporting, handovers and operational administration accurately and consistently
n
Bring ideas, challenge convention and look for better ways to elevate both the guest and collaborator experience
n

You will bring:
n
n
Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Front Office Supervisor or similar leadership position within a luxury hotel environment
n
Strong operational knowledge of Front Office and guest services
n
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
n
Confidence handling guest concerns, complex situations and competing priorities
n
A natural leadership style with the ability to coach, motivate and support others
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Robust organisation, attention to detail and sound decision-making ability
n
Experience with Opera PMS or Opera Cloudwould be highly regarded
n
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
n
The relevant working rights to undertake the position in Australia.
n
