Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, being active and working in a warehouse and yard environment?

PSA is looking for a reliable and hardworking Brace & Props Yard Assistant to join our Scoresby team.
n
This is a practical role where you'll be responsible for cleaning, servicing, maintaining and safely storing our braces and props, while also helping with general warehouse and yard activities when required.
n
If you like working with your hands, keeping things organised and taking pride in doing a job properly, this could be the role for you.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Clean, inspect and maintain braces and props to a high standard
n
Remove residue and other materials from braces as part of the servicing process
n
Safely store braces and props in designated areas
n
Assist with picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
n
Safely load and unload goods, ensuring items are loaded in the correct delivery sequence
n
Receive goods and place stock in the correct storage locations
n
Assist with counting and recording stock when required
n
Ensure picked and packed goods are clearly identified and any shortages are recorded
n
Keep the warehouse, yard and driveways clean,



tidy and free from rubbish
n
Ensure exits, fire extinguishers and other essential services remain explicit and accessible
n
Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and stock records
n
Follow all safety, quality and company procedures
n
Assist with other warehouse and yard duties as required
n

Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
n
Comfortable working in a busy warehouse and outdoor yard environment
n
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
n
Safety conscious and follows instructions
n
Organised with good attention to detail
n
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
n
Willing to learn and take on different tasks
n
Someone who takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organised
n
n
Forklift experience/licence is desirable but not essential.
