About the Role
n
Lead the Department of Medicine in a modern regional hospital, providing strategic, clinical and operational leadership. Ensure safe, high-quality patient care while driving service development, workforce excellence and innovation. Approximately 50% of the role is clinical.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead governance, service planning and performance improvement
n
Manage workforce recruitment, training and wellbeing
n
Drive education, research and accreditation
n
Champion innovative care models, including Virtual Care
n
Lead quality, safety and risk initiatives
n
Build strong stakeholder partnerships
n
FRACP and AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
n
Senior leadership experience in General Medicine or similar specialty
n
Experience in governance, workforce and service development
n
Strong communication and change management skills
n
Passion for education and research
n
