What you will be doing
n
WorkPac is currently seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Trade Assistant to join a busy team based in Welshpool. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will assist with the installation and servicing of vehicle hoists and workshop equipment, travelling to customer sites in company vehicles to support servicing and maintenance activities. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical experience who is looking to develop their skills and secure long-term employment.

Duties include:
n

Assisting with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of vehicle hoists and workshop equipment
n




Travelling to customer sites with Senior Technicians using company vehicles
n
Using hand and power tools to complete basic mechanical tasks
n
Assisting with workshop operations and occasional warehouse duties as required
n
Supporting technicians with servicing and installation activities
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures and company standards
n
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
n
n
What you will need
n
n
HR-A Drivers License
n
Mechanically minded with experience using basic hand tools, including spanners and wrenches
n
Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks, such as changing oil and general servicing assistance
n
Reliable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic
n
Willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills
n
Strong commitment to long-term employment
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
n
