About the role

Lead the finance function of a growing international business across Australia and the US.
n
Easy Signs is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of our Finance and Purchasing function across both markets.
n
Reporting directly to the Company Directors, this is a hands‐on senior leadership role spanning financial reporting, controls, compliance, cash flow, forecasting and the continued development of our finance systems and processes.

What you'll be doing
n

Lead and develop our Finance and Purchasing team.
n
Own month‐end, financial and management reporting across AU and US operations.
n
Oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, tax and statutory compliance.
n
Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital.
n
Coordinate statutory reporting and annual external audits.
n
Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
n
Oversee intercompany transactions, FX exposure, inventory and COGS accuracy.
n
Partner with the Directors and leadership team on commercial decision‐making.
n
Drive improvements across finance systems, processes and automation.
n

What we're looking for
n
n




Robust experience in a senior finance or Financial Controller role.
n
CA or CPA qualification preferred.
n
Strong technical accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability.
n
Experience leading and developing a finance team.
n
A commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge, advise and improve.
n
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to operate in a fast‐paced environment.
n
Xero experience is essential; experience with Airwallex, Dext and ApprovalMax is highly regarded.
n
Confidence working with cloud‐based systems and a drive to continuously improve how things are done.
