Job Description
As our #AAA team continues to grow, we're looking for a Senior Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Central Coast region. Depending on your location, you'll have the opportunity to work close to home!
n
As an experienced clinician, you'll bring your expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of your participants, contribute to team development, and continue growing professionally.

Responsibilities will include:
n
n
Manage a varied, community‐based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings
n
Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults
n
Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC
n
Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant‐centred goals
n
Deliver evidence‐based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence
n
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes
n
Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals
n
Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians
n
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA
n
Experience as a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist beyond graduation
n
Passionate about community‐based support for people with disability
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
n
Thrives in a cooperative, multidisciplinary team environment
n
Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
n
