An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join the perioperative team at one of Sydney's most prestigious and sought-after private hospitals.
n
We are seeking a skilled nurse across Anaesthetics, PACU and Scrub/Scout who are looking to work within a high-performing surgical environment where clinical excellence, teamwork and exceptional patient care are at the heart of everything we do.

The Opportunity
n
You will be part of a highly professional and collaborative perioperative team, working alongside leading surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals across a diverse range of surgical specialties.
n
Anaesthetics
n
n
Prepare patients, equipment and medications for a wide range of surgical procedures
n
Assist the anaesthetist throughout the perioperative journey
n
Maintain a high standard of patient safety and clinical care
n
Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in their condition
n
n
PACU/Recovery
n
n
Provide exceptional care to patients recovering from anaesthesia and surgery
n
Undertake comprehensive post-operative assessments and monitoring
n
Recognise and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
n
Provide effective pain, airway and nausea management
n
Support patients through the immediate post-operative period
n
n
Scrub/Scout
n
n
Work as an integral member of the surgical team
n




Provide safe and efficient scrub and scout support
n
Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment and procedures
n
Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards
n
Contribute to safe, efficient and high-quality surgical outcomes
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
We are seeking Registered Nurses who bring clinical expertise, professionalism and a genuine commitment to exceptional patient care.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration
n
Recent experience in Anaesthetics, PACU/Recovery and/or Scrub/Scout
n
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
The ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced surgical environment
n
A strong understanding of patient safety, infection prevention and clinical governance
n
A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teamwork
n
A commitment to professional development and clinical excellence
n
n
Perioperative qualifications and experience across multiple areas will be highly regarded.
