About the Role
Journey Early Learning Fernvale is seeking a passionate and experienced
Early Childhood Teacher
to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's learning, wellbeing and development.
As our ECT, you'll create a high-quality learning environment where children feel confident, capable and connected, while building strong relationships with children and families and working collaboratively with educators and the Centre Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a high-quality program aligned with the EYLF
Create engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence and independence
Observe, document and reflect on children's learning and development
Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
Work collaboratively with educators to create a consistent learning environment
Support children's wellbeing, learning and development through intentional teaching
Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and safeguarding
About You
ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification
Completed National Child Safety Training (GECKO)
Experience delivering a Kindergarten or school readiness program
Strong understanding of the EYLF and transition-to-school practices
Warm, nurturing,



and relationship-focused teaching style
Strong communication and family engagement skills
Passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences
Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
