Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver individual cello tuition across all year levels
n
Prepare students for solo performances and examinations (where appropriate)
n
Complete student reports and maintain accurate records
n
Implement appropriate assessment practices
n
Maintain high standards in lesson preparation, teaching, and student engagement
n
Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment within the teaching studio
n




Attend meetings and professional learning as required
n
Develop and deliver Cello programs across Junior, Middle and Senior levels
n
Conduct ensembles and orchestras as required
n
Assist in preparing students for key performances
n
n
Selection Criteria
n
n
Relevant qualifications in Music Performance (Cello) or equivalent industry experience
n
Demonstrated understanding of effective instrumental teaching practices
n
Experience in assessment and student progress reporting
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a performing arts team
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues
n
Sound ICT skills
n
Commitment to ongoing professional learning
n
Proven initiative and contribution to school programs
n

Requirements

Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
n
Current National Police Check (within 12 months)
n
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
Relevant music qualifications or equivalent professional experience
