This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of OT cybersecurity, industrial automation, major infrastructure delivery, and critical infrastructure governance on one of Australia's largest electromechanical infrastructure projects.
n
We are seeking an experienced OT Cybersecurity & Industrial Controls Assurance Lead to govern cybersecurity risk, compliance, and secure system delivery across a multi billion dollar industrial and operational technology environment.
n
The role combines elements of:
n
n
OT / IC cybersecurity
n
Industrial automation and control systems
n
Project controls and electromechanical delivery
n
Cybersecurity compliance and governance
n
SCADA / PLC architecture review
n
FAT, SAT, commissioning and lifecycle assurance
n
Critical infrastructure and regulated asset environments
n
n
You will work across engineering, automation, digital delivery, vendors, system integrators,



and project leadership teams to ensure cybersecurity is embedded throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design and procurement through to commissioning and operational readiness.

This role is ideally suited to someone coming from sectors such as:
n

Utilities
n
Power generation
n
Hydro
n
Mining
n
Rail signalling and control systems
n
Water infrastructure
n
Oil & Gas
n
Tier 1 industrial automation vendors
n
n
The successful candidate will bring robust exposure to industrial control systems, OT risk governance, and major infrastructure project delivery environments.
n
Key areas of expertise may include:
n
n
IEC ***** implementation
n
SCADA and PLC architectures
n
Siemens, ABB, Schneider or similar ecosystems
n
Industrial network segmentation and secure remote access
n
FAT / SAT cybersecurity validation
n
OT asset lifecycle and vulnerability management
n
Critical infrastructure compliance frameworks
n
NIS2, ISO*****, Essential Eight or related standards
n
n
We are particularly interested in candidates who can bridge the gap between engineering delivery teams and cybersecurity governance, someone capable of operating comfortably in highly technical industrial environments while managing risk, compliance, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
