About You
As an
Assistant Science Coordinator
, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.
The position is a 1-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.
You'll bring:
expertise in Science, with the ability to teach Physics being an advantage
strong classroom management and student well-being focus
ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.
