Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager
Perth | Nowergup or Claisebrook Based | Up to $160,000 + Super + Bonus
CrewSELECT is seeking an experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager to join a leading rail industry organisation.
This is a key leadership role responsible for strengthening governance, risk, compliance, quality and business management systems across multiple operational sites.
Preference will be given to candidates with rail industry experience and a strong understanding of rail safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
The role can be based from either the Nowergup or Claisebrook office and will support sites across Nowergup, Claisebrook and Mandurah.
From 1 January ****, the role will transition to include the Bellevue operation as the business moves away from servicing Nowergup.
What's on offer
Up to $160,000 base salary + super
Discretionary bonus of up to 5% of base salary

About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide strategic and practical advice across governance, risk and compliance while ensuring systems, policies and processes align with business objectives, legislation, accreditation standards and contractual obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining and improving the governance framework, policies and business management systems
Managing the Integrated Risk Management Framework
Identifying, assessing and controlling business risks and opportunities
Monitoring relevant legislative, regulatory and standards changes
Providing governance, compliance and risk advice to leaders and operational teams
Overseeing internal audits, KPI reporting and contractual compliance
Coordinating AS/ISO accreditation activities and managing internal and external auditor relationships
Reviewing business processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Promoting risk-based thinking, quality management and strong HSE outcomes across the business
About you
You will be an experienced governance, risk and compliance qualified with the ability to translate complex technical, legislative and contractual requirements into practical, workable solutions.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a senior governance, risk and compliance role
Rail industry experience highly regarded
Strong knowledge of rail safety legislation and regulations
Experience within transport, infrastructure, heavy industry or a similar operational environment
Experience with AS/ISO management systems, audits and accreditation processes
Relevant tertiary qualifications in governance, risk, compliance, quality, HSE, legislation or business
Auditing qualifications or demonstrated management-system auditing experience
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and report-writing skills
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and practical problem-solving
A current Class C driver's licence and ability to travel between operational sites
