About the Role
The purpose of the Assessment Officer position is to assess development proposals, provide recommendations, and deliver general advice in relation to town planning, development assessment and construction certificates.
The position is responsible for ensuring that assessments and recommendations are undertaken consistently, accurately and in accordance with relevant environmental planning instruments, policies and applicable planning legislation.
The successful applicant will hold a Diploma in Town Planning or an equivalent qualification and demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act **** and the Environment Planning and Assessment Regulation ****, as amended from time to time.
Applicants are required to provide copies of all relevant qualifications, licences and certifications with their application.
