About the Opportunity
KU Birnbial Kindergarten is a sessional kindergarten supporting children and families through high-quality, play-based early childhood education.
Purpose-built for learning, connection and community, KU Birnbial provides a welcoming environment where children are supported to develop confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging.
We are seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join our kindergarten team and lead the delivery of a high-quality educational program for children.
This is a
full-time position
in a
sessional kindergarten
, operating in line with the school term calendar.
The role is covered by KU's enterprise agreement and offers a structured work pattern, with set session times that allow you to focus on delivering meaningful learning experiences for children.
As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will guide children's learning and development, work closely with families, and contribute to a positive, cooperative team culture within the kindergarten.
What We're Looking For
An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Completed 'Mandatory reporting and other obligations' training
Completed National Child Safety Training via Geccko (Foundation)
Current teacher registration or a current Working with Children Check, as required
Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
A strong understanding of contemporary early childhood teaching practice and a passion for creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences for children
