About the Role
Gorilla Construction
is a Western Australian construction company delivering a range of building, fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects.
We are looking for a Contract Administrator to support the commercial and contractual management of our projects.
You will work closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure contracts, project costs, variations and supporting documentation are properly managed.
The position is primarily based at our Bibra Lake office, with travel to construction sites and other project locations as required.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review and administer construction contracts and subcontractor agreements.
Manage subcontractor packages, contract documents and project records.
Review and process variations, progress claims and changes to project scope.
Track project costs, contractual commitments and variations.
Monitor contract conditions, insurance documents and compliance requirements.
Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers on contract matters.
Assist with resolving contractual issues, delays, variations and changes affecting project delivery.
Monitor subcontractor performance and maintain accurate supporting records.
Maintain contract registers, correspondence and project documentation.
Assist with contract extensions, completion documents and project close-out.
Attend project meetings and construction sites where required.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Construction Economics, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related construction discipline that includes Contract Management and/or Contract Law.
Minimum 12 months of relevant work experience in a construction or closely related project environment.
Experience in contract administration, variations, claims, subcontractor coordination, cost tracking or project documentation will be highly regarded.
Skills
Good understanding of construction contracts, variations and progress claims.
Solid document management and cost-tracking skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
Ability to work with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
Competency with Microsoft Office and relevant construction or project management systems.

Employment Conditions
This is a full-time position based on 38 hours per week.
The successful applicant may be required to work reasonable additional hours where necessary to meet project or operational requirements.
Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be preferred
