KU FW Kerr Kindergarten - KU FW Kerr | Kindergarten & Childcare in Ferntree Gully
As a sessional kindergarten, we provide a high quality, government-funded kindergarten program tailored to each child's needs in a family‐focussed and supportive way.
We believe in the importance of childhood and create a secure, joyful and nurturing environment where childhood is celebrated.
FW Kerr provides 30 places to the community offering combined 3 year old and 4 year old sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30am-1:00pm.
There is a separate 4 year old group on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am-4:00pm.
The Role
We are looking for a Certificate III qualified educator to join the team on a parental leave cover contract until December **** and work with the session on Tuesdays and Thursdays with non-contact planning time on Fridays.
Workings hours are as follows:
Tuesday – 8:30am-4:00pm
Thursday – 8:30am-4:00pm
Friday – 9:30am-12:00pm
This role will suit someone who values the importance of building strong relationships with both children and their families and is a great team player.




You will also have access to picking up additional casual hours on Monday and Wednesday if desired.
Candidates Require
A current and valid VIC Working with Children Check
An ACECQA recognised Cert III qualification
A National Child Safety Training Certificate
Completed training in Child Protection including National Child Safety Training
Frist Aid and CPR Certificates
Separate Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
Working knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks (VEYLF)
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law *****) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations *****)
