About the Role
We are seeking a proactive andenthusiastic professional with excellent communication skills and a passion forcommunity engagement.
The Legal Education Lawyer plays a pivotal part inempowering individuals and communities through accessible and engaging legaleducation.
This position helps increase public awareness and understanding ofState and Commonwealth laws, as well as the services offered by Legal Services.
You will participate incommunity engagement initiatives and events, ensuring legal information reachesthose who need it most.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for thedevelopment, delivery and evaluation of community legal education and trainingprograms.
This role offers theopportunity to make a meaningful impact through community legal education andengagement, helping individuals and communities better understand and navigatelegal issues.
About You
You are an adaptable professional who is committed to improving access to justice, fostering strong community relationships, and delivering positive outcomes for priority client groups.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience delivering andpresenting training, workshops, education programs, or informationsessions to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience conducting legalresearch, interpreting legislation, and applying relevant case law.
Demonstrated experience providing legaladvice across a range of areas relevant to clients and organisationalstakeholders.
Exceptional communication and engagementskills, with the ability to tailor information and presentations to suitdiverse audiences, target groups, and age ranges.
The ability to work effectively withlimited direction, both independently and collaboratively, while buildingand maintaining positive working relationships.
LSC1




Hold a Category C Practising Certificateor currently eligible to apply for a Category C Practising Certificate.
Be an admitted practitioner of the SupremeCourt of South Australia or currently eligible for admission to practisein South Australia.
LSC2
Hold an unrestricted Category C PractisingCertificate or currently eligible to apply for an unrestricted Category CPractising Certificate.
Be an admitted practitioner of the SupremeCourt of South Australia or currently eligible for admission to practisein South Australia.
Possess a minimum of 2 years ofpost-admission legal experience such as legal practice or legal research.
Salary Range
Appointment will be made based on your experience at eitherthe LSC1 or LSC2 classification.
LSC1 $77,210 - $88,048 pro rata plus 12% superannuation and leave loading.
LSC2 $93,233 - $105,177 pro rata plus 12% superannuation and leave loading.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Legal Services is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.

Temporary 12 month contract availableat the LSC1 or LSC2 classification level.
