Medical Imaging provides access to imaging modalities 24/7, delivering diagnostic and interventional services that support critical care areas and clinical units across Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS).
The service works closely with surrounding health facilities to support service intergration and high-quality clinical outcomes.

We offer attractive remuneration and generous leave entitlements.
Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
Join the Medical Imaging team as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist and deliver high-level Nuclear Medicine and PET clinical services while providing professional leadership within the Nuclear Medicine team.
You'll undertake advanced clinical duties, support the coordination and integration of Nuclear Medicine services, provide guidance to staff and patients, and contribute to safe, high-quality clinical outcomes.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Nuclear Medicine and proof of registration (AHPRA)
Eligibility for Radiation Use Licence issued by Queensland Health
Participation in shift work (24/7), public holidays and on-call rosters
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Probation period may apply.
