Key duties & responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hospital electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels,switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.




Reporting to your line manager with any issues.
Escorting sub-contractors around the site
Maintain and test emergency power systems, including generators, UPS units, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
Respond promptly to electrical faults that impact critical areas such as operating rooms,ICU, and labs.
Reactive works on air handling units, fan coil units.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, outages, and repairs.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with hospital policies, electrical codes, andhealth carefacility regulations.

Requirements:
Level 3 Electrical InstallationsCity and Guilds 18th Edition
Previous experience in a hospital, medical facility, or critical-care setting .
HV or LV knowledge (not essential)
General Knowledge of electrical systems.
