Looking for a high-impact, short-term contract where you can step in, take full ownership of a major workshop transition, and deliver outstanding results?
Then this could be the role for you!
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, highly organized Project Coordinator / Project Manager to lead and support an upcoming workshop relocation for a major maintenance operation in WA.
As maintenance operations continue day-to-day, this contract role is created specifically to take the noise away from the site operational staff—allowing trade teams and depot leaders to focus on core workload while you manage the end-to-end relocation project.
Working closely with the GM, you will plan the shift of heavy workshop equipment, tooling, parts inventory, and stores to coordinating facilities setup, office infrastructure, contractors, and logistics, you will be the single point of contact driving this transition through to successful completion in early ****.
Key Responsibilities
Relocation Strategy & Execution: Plan, schedule, and oversee the physical relocation of workshop equipment, tooling, materials, stores, office assets, and workshop infrastructure
Operational Buffer: Act as the main buffer between operational maintenance teams, logistics vendors,

and third-party contractors to minimize disruption to live maintenance programmes
Logistics & Contractor Management: Source, schedule, and manage external removalists, transport providers, equipment riggers, and facilities contractors
Asset & Inventory Coordination: Work with stores and inventory leads to audit, stage, transport, and re-establish spare parts, tooling, and materials at the new facility
Stakeholder & Site Communication: Provide clear progress reporting, risk identification, and timeline tracking to site management and key client stakeholders
Facilities Setup: Ensure office, workshop spaces, and amenities at the destination site are operational and fit-for-purpose prior to team handover
What You'll Need
Proven Relocation Experience: Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating industrial site relocations, workshop moves, manufacturing line shifts, or major facility migrations
Self-Starter & Autonomous: Ability to hit the ground running, take ownership of project milestones, and drive outcomes without needing day-to-day handholding
Strong Stakeholder Skills: Excellent communication and organization skills to keep internal teams, external contractors, and management aligned
Requirements: Hold a valid C-Class Driver's License and the ability to pass pre-employment site site induction/medical checks if required
Why Join?
Clear, Defined Deliverable: A sharp 4–5 month contract with a clear project objective concluding early next year
Great Team: Really solid team with positive culture, all keen to see you succeed and deliver a positive outcome
Flexibility: Open to both full-time and part time (e.g., 3–4 days/week) arrangements to suit your availability
Competitive Contract Rates: Excellent hourly/daily rate negotiable based on your depth of experience.
Starting at $55 – $70 p/h + Super
