About the Role We are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Venue Manager to lead our flagship rooftop cocktail bar and continue driving its success.
You will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operations of Lady Banks Rooftop.
Working closely with operational leaders, chefs, marketing and events teams, you will identify opportunities to grow revenue, elevate the cocktail and beverage offering, enhance the customer experience and strengthen Lady Banks' position as one of Sydney's premier rooftop and cocktail destinations.
Key Responsibilities Lead all operational aspects of Lady Banks Rooftop.
Develop, coach and inspire a high-performing front-of-house and bar team.
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain premium service standards.
Drive venue performance through effective management of sales, labour and costs.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning.
Lead the development and continuous evolution of the venue's cocktail and beverage program.




Collaborate with bar and culinary teams to design creative cocktail menus, seasonal beverage offerings and premium guest experiences.
Monitor beverage trends, product innovation and market opportunities to keep the venue at the forefront of Sydney's hospitality scene.
Ensure seamless delivery of functions, events and entertainment activations.
Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage stock control, beverage costing, ordering and inventory processes.
Create and manage rosters that support trading requirements and labour efficiency.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, RSA, RCG, WHS and food safety requirements.
Maintain venue presentation and standards across all service periods.
About You You are an experienced hospitality leader who thrives in premium, guest-focused environments.
You understand how to create energy within a venue, build strong teams and deliver experiences that keep guests coming back.
You bring a balance of operational excellence, commercial awareness and people leadership, combined with a genuine passion for cocktails, beverage innovation and outstanding guest experiences.
To be successful, you'll have: Previous experience managing a premium cocktail bar, rooftop venue, restaurant or high-end hospitality venue.




Demonstrated success leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of contemporary cocktail trends, spirits, wine and premium beverage offerings.
Experience designing cocktail menus, developing beverage programs and driving bar performance.
Proven experience driving sales, profitability and operational performance.
Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
Exceptional guest service and relationship-building abilities.
Experience managing events, functions or high-volume service periods.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Current RSA, RCG and Approved Manager qualifications.
Ability to hold, or be approved as, the venue Licensee.
Flexibility to work across the venue's core operating days and major events.
