We're looking for a Trade Essentials Product Manager to join our Product R D team in Cheltenham.
The Trade Essentials category is our core, high-volume, functional and hard-wearing products that are key to our success.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical knowledge, commercial thinking, and project leadership to drive growth, efficiency across one of our core product categories.
About the Role Reporting to the Head of Product and R D, you'll take ownership of the Trade Essentials category, developing and executing strategies that deliver sustainable growth while optimising product ranges and improving commercial performance.
You'll build a deep understanding of the products within the category and work closely with teams across Operations, Sales, Procurement and Marketing to bring new products and initiatives to life.
From product strategy and market opportunities through to pilot trials, commercialisation and launch, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing Developing and executing category product strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Identifying opportunities to improve product ranges and reduce waste.
Leading new product development and commercialisation projects.
Managing cross-functional projects through stage and gate processes.




Collaborating with manufacturing teams on product trials and implementation activities.
Using data and insights to inform decision making and influence stakeholders.
Presenting recommendations, project outcomes and business cases to senior leaders.
Ensuring all activities are delivered with safety at the forefront.
What We're Looking For We're open to candidates coming from a technical/manufacturing/product background.
You may bring: Experience in product management, product management, industrial manufacturing or a related technical field.
Strong project management capability with a track record of delivering outcomes.
Confidence working with data, analysing trends and making recommendations.
The ability to communicate effectively and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
A commercial mindset combined with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced setting where priorities can shift quickly.
