Initially offered as a 3-month contract, this role has strong potential to become permanent and would suit someone looking to accelerate their development within a complex, high-risk environment.
About the Role Reporting into the Safety Manager, you'll partner closely with operational teams across a large field-based workforce.
You'll be responsible for: Providing practical WHS advice, coaching and support to operational teams and contractors Conducting workplace inspections, safety audits and assurance activities Identifying hazards and partnering with leaders to implement effective risk controls Supporting plant, equipment and heavy vehicle safety inspections Monitoring contractor safety performance and compliance Investigating incidents, injuries and near misses and assisting with corrective actions Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and safety awareness initiatives Supporting risk assessments and continuous improvement activities Maintaining safety reporting,



dashboards and performance data About You You'll likely bring experience from construction, infrastructure, transport or other operational environments.
We're particularly interested in candidates with: Certificate IV in Work Health Safety (essential) Current driver's licence Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles The confidence to engage directly with frontline workers, supervisors and contractors A proactive attitude and genuine desire to continue developing within the safety profession Comfortable working varied roster with some night shifts required What's on Offer?
