About the opportunity As our Fleet Accounts Controller, you'll play a key role in driving financial accountability and cost governance across Australia Post's national fleet portfolio.
Reporting to the Manager Capital Projects, you'll provide end-to-end oversight of fleet expenditure, helping improve cost visibility, strengthen financial controls and support informed, data-driven decision-making across the business.
Working closely with Fleet, Finance, Procurement and operational stakeholders, you'll identify opportunities to optimise costs, improve reporting and deliver sustainable commercial outcomes.
You'll also Drive fleet spend governance through accurate expenditure monitoring, reporting and financial control practices.
Analyse fleet expenditure trends, risks and variances to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Support budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation and performance reporting activities across the fleet portfolio.
Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI and digital tools to improve processes, data quality and operational efficiency.
About you You're a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insights.
With strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, you're confident influencing stakeholders, challenging existing processes and driving accountability.
You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about finding smarter ways of working that deliver value for the business.
You'll also Have experience in financial control, cost management, commercial accounting or a similar finance-focused role.
Bring robust capability across budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis and expenditure governance.
Hold a degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance, with CPA or CA qualifications (or progress towards accreditation) highly regarded.
