Our client is seeking a management accountant to join their finance team.
This varied role combines hands-on accounting with financial reporting, analysis and business partnering, providing valuable exposure to the broader financial performance of a manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities Manage bank and balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and month-end close.
Prepare monthly P L reporting, variance analysis and management commentary.
Manage inventory accounting, including stock reconciliations, valuation, provisions and variance analysis.
Analyse production costs, labour, overhead and inventory variances.
Track capital expenditure and maintain supporting records.
Produce KPI reports, dashboards and site performance reporting.
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Maintain strong financial controls,



system accuracy and compliance, while identifying process improvements.
Provide support and mentoring to team members and limited cover for routine Financial Controller activities.
About You You'll be a detail-focused, commercially minded and proactive accountant who enjoys getting into the numbers, investigating variances and turning financial information into meaningful insights.
