About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journalist - Editorial to join our publications team and play a crucial role in supporting The Salvation Army's diverse initiatives nationwide.
This is a Permanent Part time role (22.8 Hours/ week), location – Blackburn, VIC.
Purpose of the Role: To research and write content for TSA magazines, reports and online channels in line with the mission and values of the Salvation Army Key Roles and Responsibilities: Gather news from corps, centres, divisions and THQ departments for inclusion in publications, reports, online and social media channels.
Prepare all components for stories (eg. research ideas, interviews, fact checking, writing) for the magazines and associated online channels.
Secure release forms for all subjects interviewed, photographed, filmed in support of content published.
Attend events for reporting and information gathering for stories as required.




Proofreading duties as part of the proofreading process – excellent attention to detail.
