Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, Berri MD2 | Consultant / Senior Consultant Multiple Positions Available | Ongoing | Full Time/Part Time Indicative Total Remuneration: $492,834 - $641,657 Eligibility Open to Everyone About the Role: Provide clinical services of the highest standard in the Emergency Department across a 24/7 roster Work with limited or no direction, exercising a high degree of professional judgment and clinical competence in a multi-disciplinary setting Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day management of the clinical floor Respond to hospital MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls as required by allocation on shift Provide supervision, training, and direction to more junior staff as needed Participate in teaching and quality assurance activities, while also engaging in health promotion and community education initiatives What We're Looking For: Essential Criteria Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
Must hold a specialist qualification with the following colleges - RACGP, ACRRM and ACEM and be registrable as a specialist with AHPRA Granted specialist registration by the medical board for relevant specialty e.g. G/P, ACEM.
Desired Criteria Teamwork Leadership: Ability to work effectively, flexibly and constructively within multidisciplinary teams.
Clinical Experience: Broad experience across medical fields relevant to emergency medicine and diverse clinical settings.




Diverse Patient Care: Experience working with diverse populations, including Indigenous, culturally and linguistically diverse, and mental health clients.
