As a Maintenance Officer, you'll ensure our health service runs like clockwork, using your expertise to keep facilities safe, reliable and efficient.
From maintaining essential plant and equipment to conducting repairs throughout our facility, you'll play a crucial role in creating a safe, efficient workplace for both staff and patients.
You'll also help us stay compliant with all the important standards and regulations that keep our healthcare service running safely.
Key responsibilities include: Maintain and repair plant, equipment and facilities Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Support risk management and accreditation processes Participate in occasional on-call duties Contribute to a secure working environment for all Required Skills and Experience Essential requirements We're looking for people with the skills, experience and practical know-how to keep our healthcare facilities safe and operating smoothly: Trade qualification or significant experience in maintenance or a related field.
Knowledge of chemical safety, infection control and WHS requirements.
Experience across building, grounds, plant and equipment maintenance and repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Respectful communication skills and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Good computer literacy and administrative skills.
Availability to work occasional out-of-hours shifts when required.
