The TV Distribution Sales Planning review contracts, capture and process amendments, sales data entry into internal systems, etc Budgeting and Data Management - In partnership with Sales and Finance teams in preparing budgets and forecasts General Sales Administration - Assist in the implementation and execution of processes and guidelines for all aspects of the sales planning and operations process.
Other ad hoc sales support activities as required, including UAT testing.
What you need Educated to minimum undergraduate degree level.
Preference in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration or Supply Chain related disciplines.
Typically 6+ years in a capacity in any of the following fields – accounting, auditing, information systems, engineering, supply chain, sales operations, or business administration or equivalent.
Experience in sales planning, sales operations, contract administration, rights management, content distribution, business administration or a related commercial operations role.
Experience in a studio, distributor, broadcaster, streaming platform or media business, with exposure to avails, contract management and/or rights management, would be highly regarded.
Knowledge of information systems management, business or sales administration, TV content rights management, and budgeting principles a plus.
Strong and passionate drive to achieve results and create an environment focused on ongoing improvements in processes, system efficiency and accuracy.
Detailed and analytical oriented mindset with experience in managing, analyzing and interpreting large data samples in a logical and accurate manner.
Team player and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Excellent computer skills: Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc), Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Experience, exposure or understanding of media/US entertainment industry with a particular focus on programming sales, distribution, and the social media landscape in Australia and New Zealand a plus.
This role is based in Sydney, Australia.
