Job description Production Operator Wacol, Brisbane | Day Afternoon Shift | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract Join a well-established manufacturing operation in Wacol as a Production Operator , working within a up-to-date plant environment producing chemical and construction products.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous manufacturing, production, batching or processing experience who is comfortable working around raw materials, machinery and manual handling.
The Role You'll be responsible for supporting the production process from raw material handling and batching through to packaging and dispatch , while maintaining high standards of safety and product quality.
Key responsibilities: Operate plant and manufacturing equipment Load and handle raw materials for blending, mixing and processing Monitor production processes and product quality Bag, package and palletise finished products Operate a forklift to move materials around the site Complete production paperwork and basic computer entries Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements Work safely in a dusty manufacturing environment, including wearing a respirator when required Maintain a clean,
