07th September, **** We are seeking an Allied Health Assistant ( Gap Year) to work in a full time fixed term for 12 months (80 hours/fortnight) capacity based at Nhill .
RENUMERATION: Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement *********.
Estimated Annual Salary: IN28 - Allied Health Assistant Grade 1, $59,******* per year.
ABOUT THE ROLE To provide high-quality support to our Allied Health Professionals, including clinical care and administrative duties.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Essential: Effective communication and organisational skills.
An understanding of the unique nature of rural communities and a commitment to improving the overall health and well-being of these communities.
Ability to work both independently and as a valuable member of a team.
Time management and organisational skills.
Commitment to principles of Quality Assurance, Equal Employment Opportunity and Occupational Health Safety.
Confidence in a pool environment isrequired.
Competence in using computer programs including Microsoft Word, Outlook and other databases.
Qualification: Qualifications are not mandatory for this position.




There is an opportunity to complete Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance if the successful candidate wishes (not mandatory).
PRE-REQUISITES: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Working with Children Check.
Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
Australian Driver's Licence.
