An exciting 10-week freelance opportunity has become available for a skilled Traffic Studio Coordinator to join a state government department starting mid-October ****.
About the Role Managing the central studio inbox and evaluating incoming design briefs via Asana.
Setting up new jobs, tasks, and technical specs in Basecamp for designer execution.
Acting as the primary traffic controller for a core team of in-house designers and external freelancers.
Meeting with internal stakeholders to scope creative requirements and manage expectations on turnarounds.
Refining existing processes and introducing lightweight workflow solutions to streamline studio tracking and scheduling.
About You Proven experience in a Traffic, Studio Coordination, or Creative Operations role (preferably within the public sector or a fast-paced agency setting).
A solid understanding of standard government creative deliverables, brand guidelines, and sign-off processes.
Tech-savvy and proficient with project management platforms including Asana, Basecamp, and Trello.




Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a calm, decisive approach to juggling competing priorities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and successfully manage both creative workloads and people.
This role is due to commence around mid October for a 10-week duration.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in the Melbourne CBD (with Thursday being a mandatory all-team day), so please only apply if you are Melbourne-based and comfortable with this arrangement.
